Happy New Year!


I would like to thank all of those who have supported me from conception to action of Dunce Cap Artist and Touring Management in 2009. It is has been a bumpy ride, but we are finally on the road.


The Breakup Letter embarked on their first Canadian tour. Like true Canadian’s, TBL toured the east coast including Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax in December with the help of GR booking agent Matt McKechnie. Each show had a different set of interesting events such as “sound guy Tom” singing dark country Christmas carols at Zaphod’s in Ottawa, indoor winter surfing in Halifax at “What’s her name’s” or a karaoke dance party at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. The debut record, “Mornigton Crescent Now Open” from Ramona released on Pacific Ridge Records (U.S) Engineer Records (U.K.& Europe) and Fixing a Hole Records (Japan) will be available this coming March. If you can not wait for the first single, “A Way Over,” released in February, supported by the video directed and produced by the Paul Stachniak, Ramona will be giving a sneak preview on January 16th at Mitzi’s Sister in Toronto with support from their good friends, The Vicious Guns and Paint.


Dunce Cap’s touring season will kick off with a North American tour with Icarus Witch and Paul Di’Anno (original Iron Maiden Singer) on January 25th. Please visit the “Who’s On The Road” section for a list of tour dates.
